Crafty Vendor Sign-Up Process

Crafty is a curated multivendor marketplace designed to showcase handcrafted and artisan products. To maintain high standards and deliver a seamless experience for customers and creators alike, vendors must complete the following onboarding process:

  • Navigate to My Account

  • Complete the Online Registration Form with:
    • Business/Brand name
    • Contact details
    • Product category
    • Payment details (PayFast required for payment processing) 15% goes to crafty system support
      On the PayFast account settings, payment methods enable split payment and add this merchant as an allowed merchant 10122644
  • Submit the form to create your vendor account.

Note: A PayFast account is mandatory to proceed.

After account creation, vendors must:

  • Log into their Crafty vendor dashboard.
  • Complete their profile:
    • Add a brand logo or profile picture.
    • Write a business description or story.
    • Provide social links (optional).
  • Set up delivery preferences:
    • Configure delivery fee based on region or order value.
    • Indicate shipping methods and turnaround times.

Product Image Requirements

  • Upload high-quality images for all products:
    • Minimum 1000x1000px recommended.
    • Clean background, preferably white or neutral.
    • Multiple angles (front, side, back, close-ups).

Product listings with poor images may be rejected or delayed in approval.

  • Once the profile and delivery setup are complete, your account will be submitted for review.
  • Crafty’s admin team will:
    • Verify vendor details.
    • Check compliance with marketplace standards.
    • Approve or request edits if needed.

  • Upon successful review, you will receive an account approval email.
  • You may then begin:
    • Listing products.
    • Receiving orders.
    • Managing your shop on the platform.
